Hiding in a Photo Booth!

Dearest Friends,
My apologies for being absent for these weeks. Believe it or not, it's been crazier than usual! Yes! It's possible! I didn't get to tell you all about my Halloween. I usually like to dress up, but I had no time to plan anything this year so I decided to get into my niece and nephews Halloween.I joined my family for an early dinner in East L.A. and helped get my niece and nephew ready. My niece was a butterfly and my nephew was a skeleton, but he insisted that he was a "nice" skeleton and that he didn't want to scare anybody. Gotta love it! Here are some pictures from my family's home in East L.A.

Two days after Halloween I got on a plane to shoot my next episode of Extreme Makeover:Home Edition in Kansas City, Kansas. I was already scheduled to shoot this show when my executive producer, Denise Cramsey,
asked me to double shoot, meaning travel back and forth to two locations within a two week period. You see, we shoot two shows at the same time. The design team is usually split while Di goes back and forth ALL OF THE
TIME! Ty, have a new appreciation for you bud!

There are a lot of people on my show born in November. Two of those people are James Bailey, one of our cameramen, and Chris Flores, in our transportation dept. Here I am buying them a drink at a local bar in
Kansas.

Well, I wasn't in Kansas five days and I had to go knock on another family's door in KY. This family was spectacular. This show will be a two-hour special set for February. Friends, I love all of your families, but this
one really touched my heart. It's a joyful and inspirational story, not a sad one. Several thousand people wanted to help us tear the house down! Just look at all of the volunteers coming behind me!

One of my favorite parts of this show was working with our make-up artists, Carrie Merrick. Carrie has become one of my great friends on the show and I adore her! She actually just did my make up for the cover photo to my next book as well! Here is a picture of Carrie and I shortly after she did my make up.

I got COLD on this trip! The winter clothes came out. It was time for jackets, sweaters and hoods. Speaking of hoods - here is a picture of me goofing around trying to look tough. Am I convincing?

In Kansas Paige, Johnny, Rib and I joined Didi. In Louisville, Kentucky, Didi and I were joined by Paul. Ed, Did and Michael. Here is a picture of the team before the family came home in Louisville.

After coming home, I had my cover shoot for my second book and went to Dancing With The Stars as a guest! I was so excited! I want Marie Osmond to win! I've had a crush on her since I was a kid. She brings joy to that
dance floor and to me, that's what dancing is all about.

By the time you read this, Thanksgiving will likely have passed. I hope that you and yours had a good one. Get ready for the rest of the holidays -They are just around the corner. I will be coming to you next from - yes, out of
town. Try and guess! Hint: I'll be on the East coast.

Keep smiling!

Eduardo
