We all know working out is something that every doctor will tell you is a must. No matter how important we know working out is to our health, we still hesitate to get ourselves into the gym.
Going to the gym wouldn't be so bad if the only thing we had to do was spend a hour in the gym, however with work, kids, and life in the way how are we ever supposed to get ourselves in there? Well the hardest part of going to the gym is just getting there. Once you are in there it's easy, the hard part is just getting yourself motivated. I have found out the best Way to get yourself to the gym is to just get there. When you feel you do not have time, make time. There are times that I have had to wake up at 3am to go to the gym before I have to film. I may not like it but I know if I do not get there first thing in the morning I will find every excuse not to go at night when I get off of work. If you are not a morning person, which many people are not, or if mornings do not work out for you because you have to get the kids ready for school, then try to make it a point to go directly from work. Pack a gym bag with a change of clothes so that you can work out right after work. If you go home first it makes it harder for you to get motivated to go. You get caught up making dinner, helping the kids with homework, cleaning up, you're settled in relaxing, your tired, the kids need to be tucked into bed, the excuses become endless. So make it easier for yourself and go straight from work, that way you have the entire evening to relax and feel healthy.
