Studies have shown that Omega 3's can play a part in reducing the risk of heart diseases, and improve brain and eye function. Fish oil is a great source of Omega 3. However sometimes you may be looking for unique way to fulfill your health quota. My chiropractor gave me a great idea that works well in his household, "Omega Pops" That is right, you and your kids can get your Omega 3's in cool Popsicle! This is all you'll need:
1 cup plain goat (or regular) yogurt
½ cup frozen blueberries
½ cup frozen raspberries ( or strawberry)
1 banana
1 scoop "miracle greens" (found at your local heath food store in the supplement section)
2 tbsp. flax powder
2 tbsp. fish oil (contains your omega 3's)
2 tbsp. honey (or agave, stevia, real maple syrup can work as a substitute for honey)
Blend until smooth and pour into Popsicle mold and allow freezing in the freezer, and enjoy!!!
You can adjust the mixture to your liking, but it is better if it is thick.
