Estudiantes de periodismo a comprar su iPhone

Estamos de acuerdo con que las personas que estudian Periodismo o Comunicación deben estar atentos a todo, sobre todo a los cambios tecnológicos para a su vez, comunicarlo a otros, pero eso de que exijan en las universidades contar con aparatos que están a la vanguardia pues se me hace una exageración.

Leía que en la Universidad de Misouri, en particular en la Facultad de Periodismo, les están exigiendo a los alumnos tener un iPhone o un iPhod Touch para el próximo año lectivo como requisito indispensable. ¡Un absurdo!

Además, según relata la nota, la Universidad les requiere a sus alumnos disponer de un ordenador portátil con conexión wi-fi a Internet y Microsoft Office, como mínimo, instalado. Aunque no lo exige, recomienda a sus estudiantes comprar computadoras de la marca Apple. ¿Entonces, si no tengo la posibilidad de adquirir estos aparatos, no puedo estudiar ahí?

Estoy de acuerdo en que la tecnología invadirá poco a poco las aulas educativas para beneficio de quienes estudian, pero el momento en el que actualmente vivimos, con una crisis donde lo importante llega a ser el tener un espacio donde vivir decorosamente y sobre todo pagar las deudas, pues esos son lujos que no son tan factibles para todos... ¿no creen?
