Esta mañana cuando empecé mi día descubrí algo sorprendente: que ahora soy banquero junto con millones de contribuyentes en Estados Unidos. Hoy todos tenemos acciones o por lo menos derecho a tener acciones de la banca estadounidense. ¿Fue un logro para nuestras finanzas personales?.
Cienciología ¿una religion, una secta o una organización comercial?
Esta mañana me desperté con que famosos como J.Lo es nueva integrante de la filosofía religiosa o ¿religión? llamada 'Cienciología', cada vez más expandida entre los famosos, como Tom Cruise. Pero ¿qué es la cienciología?.
Hay un debate muy marcado desde la creación de ésta (en 1953 para ser exactos) sobre si es una religión, una secta o una organización comercial. Desde el punto de vista teológico sería una filosofía religiosa aplicada en creencias que buscan mejorar la estadía del ser humano modificando los conceptos mentales, cambiando el polo negativo a lo positivo, modificando los pensamientos y también se atiende a lo sucedido en vidas pasadas (reencarnación).
Juzguen por ustedes mismos... ¿Es una religión, una secta o una organización religiosa-comercial?

La campaña presidencial de los Estados Unidos alcanzó a los votantes más cool. Los usuarios de iPhone pueden descargar una versión del popular celular de Jobs especialmente diseñada para los fans de Obama.
Cuidado con los juegos mecánicos
Para aquellos que gustan de las emociones un fuertes en los juegos mecánicos, les cuento lo que leí esta semana y que podría hacerles cambiar un poco su percepción.
Resulta que una pequeña de dos años de edad fue rescata al momento en que caía de un juego mécanico viva (la nota), ¿dónde, cómo, qué pasó, quién lo hizo, etc, etc?
Aquí lo importante más que el suceso es darnos cuenta si realmente los juegos mecánicos son o no seguros, si se cuenta con los permisos correspondientes, las revisiones necesarias y realmente cuáles son 'patito' y cuáles son certificados.
Los distintos enfoques psicológicos de la depresión
El modelo psicodinámico sugiere que la depresión representa una "agresión contra uno mismo" debido a dolores no resueltos por pérdidas durante la niñez. Cuando somos niños, dependemos totalmente de nuestros padres y tememos ser abandonados, así que al sentir la sensación de abandono, la misma necesitad que tenemos de ellos no nos permite expresar nuestro coraje contra ellos y lo expresamos contra nosotros mismos. De acuerdo a algunos autores, este enfoque no es muy útil en el tratamiento contra la depresión.
El modelo cognitivo considera que las personas con depresión tienen distorsiones en sus pensamientos que les hacen pensar que un fracaso aplica en todas las circunstancias, como si ellos estuvieran "destinados a fallar". En estos casos la terapia está dirigida a que aprendan a juzgar qué puede ser controlado y qué no.
Otra variante de este modelo es cuando prejuzgamos la conducta de los demás y pensamos que actúan así para hacernos daño (por ejemplo si alguien no acude a una cita una persona deprimida podría pensar que no llegó porque "lo odia", "lo desprecia", etc.) sin ningún tipo de objetividad. La terapia en estos casos se dirige a evitar hacer atribuciones y buscar evidencias objetivas.

Los botones son cosa del pasado. La moda es "touch", y todo se controla con los dedos (los celulares, las nuevas PCs, las mesas de oficina). Pero la empresa Alps Electric se propone dar un gran salto tecnológico y lanzaría un "non contact touchpad".
¿Cómo se explica esa contradicción? La electricidad estática de los dedos permitirá controlar la PC a centímetros del trackpad. En principio, el proyecto está pensado para usuarios que no podrían tocar físicamente la PC y no para los asquerosos que navegan y comen nachos al mismo tiempo.
Telefonía celular para católicos
¡Arriba la modernidad que hasta en la religión está entrando!. Me dio mucho gusto leer sobre la iniciativa de un sacerdote polaco que quiere crear una línea de telefonía celular móvil para los católcos, crear una especie de red celular entre los católicos para ayudarnos... ¿te imaginas?.
Entre los servicios que pretende dar, además de ser económico, es mandar rezos diariamente a los feligreses que así lo soliciten, por temática de ayuda o bien, como se dice, "el del día". ¿Estarías interesado en contratar este servicio?
