Prediciones a un mes del Miss Universe 2008

Aquí mis predicciones a un mes del concurso Miss Universe 2008. Llevo dos años acertando el resultado y por lo que veo puedo volverlo a hacer.

De todas formas según se acerque la fecha final tendré un mejor panorama...

Camino a Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2009

Ya comenzaron a salir a la luz publica las candidatas al concurso que busca la representante de Puerto Rico al Miss Universo Internacional 2009. De las que he podido ver hasta ahora la candidata de Culebra es la mas que me ha llamado la atención. Tiene algo que me parece interesante y podría sorprender en el concurso internacional.

Lo interesante también de esta candidata es quienes la están apadrinando. Son los mismos que ubicaron a la candidata de Guayando, Melissa Cabral, como Primera Finalista en el Miss Mundo de este año. Para muchos fue un logro por que ella poseía un prototipo de belleza no característico en las reinas de belleza.

Miss Mundo PR: San Juan gana Mini-Evento!

El pasado sábado, 9 de marzo se celebro en el centro comercial Plaza Las Américas un mini-evento del certamen Miss Mundo Puerto Rico. El mismo era una competencia en conjunto con la Asociación de la Distrofia Muscular de la isla.

Acaba de ser coronada la candidata de Dorado como la nueva representante de Puerto Rico al concurso internacional de Miss Universe. La realidad es que no nos sorprende el resultado pues ya era de esperarse y así YO lo había pronosticado. Sin embargo, por unos momentos pensé que Trujillo Alto pudo alzarse con la corona.

REVALIDA BRATZ versus BARBIE

En un "espectaculo" sobrio y carente de elementos de produccion, la representante de Japon, Riyo Mori, se alzo con la corona universal.

Aún estoy atonita, perpleja y confundida. El concurso le falto entretenimiento y vistosidad. Cabe señalar que el escenario y la idea de enseñar lo que pasa "backstage" fue una copia del mas reciente desfile de modas de Victoria's Secret. Error para una producción internacional como lo es Miss Universe.

Inverosimil pero cierto

En el 2005 Canada ganaba la corona y Puerto Rico quedaba como primera finalista. El pasado año Canada corono a Puerto Rico y Japon llegaba a primera finalista. En este año Puerto Rico corono a Japon. El proximo año Japon coronara a Brasil que este año quedo primera finalista. Ya veremos.

Asi esta el ambiente en Mexico. Ya paso la preliminar y la suerte esta echada.

Ahora bien el concurso no es mas que una ramificacion de los negocios del señor Trump. Asi que no duden que Miss Republica Dominicana este entre las semifinalistas. ¿No creen que sería una excelente forma de darle publicidad al campo de Golf que esta construyendo en el hermano pais caribeño? La realidad es que la candidata Dominicana es buena y bonita pero pasa desapercibida totalmente.
